Many singles when on a date often wonder what is the best thing to say or how do I communicate with this person that holds me in the best possible light? • Try to talk less and to the point. Men are keen to know the crux of the story and can sometimes show disinterest in a long story. This does not mean that you have to be quiet – just reduce reenacting every step of the way. Be more direct with your communication.
• Give him the opportunity to talk by asking questions. This also indicates that you are interested in what he has to say, which in turn can make him more interested in you.
• If you are upset with something talk to it through if you need to but don’t bore him with too much detail. Short sharp facts will bring him up to speed with the situation
• Try to make him laugh. Everyone loves a good laugh. This will also show that you are enjoyable and fun to be around.
