How to communicate with a man

Many singles when on a date often wonder what is the best thing to say or how do I communicate with this person that holds me in the best possible light? Often people do not know how or what could be the best way to communicate with opposite sex. Two men or two women while conversing with each other communicate effectively and clearly. But when this conversation is with the opposite sex something goes wrong which affects the communication. Whether nerves comes into play or not often people can either draw a blank or speak so fast their words are muddled up.

To the ladies out there, in order to make your date a super success, it is very important to understand how men think to assist with ensuring the conversation is enjoyable to both of you.

Males often communicate using their intellect – the rational, analytical part of the brain. They also communicate to share information and not always to build a relationship. Therefore, females need to be more direct in their communication.

In order to bridge the gap of communication between the two, women can change their way of speaking to build a more interactive conversation. Here are few vital points to keep in mind when trying to decide how to communicate with men:
  • Try to talk less and to the point. Men are keen to know the crux of the story and can sometimes show disinterest in a long story. This does not mean that you have to be quiet – just reduce reenacting every step of the way. Be more direct with your communication.
  • Give him the opportunity to talk by asking questions. This also indicates that you are interested in what he has to say, which in turn can make him more interested in you.
  • If you are upset with something talk to it through if you need to but don’t bore him with too much detail. Short sharp facts will bring him up to speed with the situation
  • Try to make him laugh. Everyone loves a good laugh. This will also show that you are enjoyable and fun to be around.

Do women like to date bad boys?

The answer is ‘Yes’! Don’t be shocked to read this. There are several facts to support my answer.

On big screen we see that villain has a gorgeous babe always standing next to him and the same happens in reality. After all movies are to some extent inspired from reality. No doubt women like nice guys but they aren’t attracted to them as much as the bad boy. So let’s see what they are attracted to.

Women can find nice guys boring whereas bad guys exude self-confidence, strength, assertiveness and are more often than not HOT! These traits post a challenge to every woman and women love challenges.

The girls who go after bad guys want to find that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and sometimes go to great lengths to solve this challenge. Often bad boys give the impression they can walk away at anytime so women keep making the effort to conquer them, please them and often they don’t want to let go or give up.

But this does not mean all men should become that bad boy to attract your lady love. Often women see through this act or front of marchioness and the relationship is heading for disaster anyway. It’s important to be yourself and not play games.

A touch of mystery is always nice on the first date. The first date is not the time to tell the other person about your entire life history. If the date goes well you will have your entire life to do that.

A few things to remember don’t let your date rule over you, control your emotions, and make you into something you are not. Remember to be yourself and it is not a game.

Choosing the right platform for dating

Sometimes I sit back to think and am amazed to use the recent technological developments, including Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn and email marketing.

Our ancestors would have never even imagined that one day the world would be such a small place and people will be completing so many tasks through internet, which is now just a click away.

There are numerous dating websites which opens doors for people to meet each other online or in reality.

Dating websites are booming and assisting all those love-seeker singles. Many online dating websites or chat rooms as I call them, for me are mere waste of time and deflate emotions unnecessarily. The most useful sites are the ones that actually guarantee that you meet the person face to face and that do not cost and arm and a leg.

Why not to enjoy real life experiences and meet people face to face by booking yourself to a dating event. Meeting at a dating event is a better way of dating rather than online dating or chatting as it makes you sit in front of your date, is a true representation of the actual person and it weeds out the weeds. With face to face dating you can judge him/her by their reactions, body language, and smile and brings you that one step closer to finding what you are looking for. You can make up your own mind and not rely on a computer or consultant to tell you who you should be dating.

A website like InviteU2 can be a real help for those who are in Brisbane to book their dating event face to face. Dates can be booked online with a group of like minded singles for breakfast, dinner or at an activity such as the Melbourne Cup event on 2 Nov at Eagle Farm Raceway. Such websites can also be helpful to make new friends in your city.

So let's celebrate the new technology by using its all possible features.

The Importance of the right venue for a Date

Apart from dressing appropriately and attitude, there is one more important thing of which you should be careful about when going on your first date – Venue. Yes, the right venue plays an important role for your first date. What could be worse than an uncomfortable place for a date, terrible service and the surrounding noise so loud you cannot hear each other speak?

Imagine having to try too hard to hear what your date is saying to you and you getting distracted by the surrounding. Moreover, you giving a non sense answer due to lack of audibility. The first few dates give you the opportunity to get to know each other and give your date the opportunity to get to know you. Instead of just sitting there looking at each other because neither of you can hear what the other is saying.

So, to make your date a success chooses a place where you know you both will be comfortable and is easy for you both to talk. A loud bar, dark lounge, cinema hall, or a noisy place is surely a no-no for the first date, unless you arrange this with a combination of other activities which allows you to talk there can be exceptions.

Successful online dating websites like InviteU2 take this hassle of organizing that first date away from you. You can book yourself onto a small group date that will be at a restaurant, cocktail lounge or activity such as golf or winery tours. The dates are booked online with like minded people and thus no issue of selecting a venue will be an issue.
